Through working at Jupiter Kiteboarding I got the opportunity to try out some really fun Fiik electric skateboards. These things are surprisingly fast and even accelerate super quick. I haven’t tested their range yet but they say the Rager can go up to 11 miles on a full charge. They are really fun to carve around on and I can see them being really useful for commuters. The only draw back is that the lead-acid battery models are kind of heavy. The Lithium models are pretty light and as long as you don’t have to walk up too many steps the lead acid isn’t bad either.
