Adrenaline

We are currently living and traveling on a 1988 41′ Crowther Spindrift Catamaran named Adrenaline.

When we bought her she needed a ton of work. We sanded and fiberglassed for days in order to get her ready for many days of adventure. There is always work to be done on a boat and we are conquering one project at a time between our travels. We are extremely happy with her performance and are cruising faster than we ever have before. She is equipped with two diesel 18hp Yanmar engines that get many days of rest. We go faster under sail! We have come to realize that Adrenaline is definitely the best of both worlds. We move with the wind, making our fuel consumption practically nothing. We stay upright and stable thanks to the two hulls and wide beam. We also have two engine just in case the wind dies. It is always nice to know that we have back up options.

Adrenaline

Our dinghy is a 2014 11’6″ Achilles with a fiberglass hull. She is powered by a 20hp Suzuki and boy does she fly. She is big enough to pack full with fishing and freediving gear and still small enough to lift up and sit on the back of the boat while we sail.

Neverland

Before Adrenaline we lived on a 1973 Marine Trader Trawler for three years.

We bought her as another big project and tackled one job after another. We took Neverland to the Exumas, Abacos, and up and down the east coast of the United States multiple times.

Neverland

She treated us well and we loved every second aboard her. Neverland is currently living in Newport, Rhode Island and is a retirement home for a nice man named Bill (how ironic).

Tula

Tula (“balance” in Sanskrit) was the start of the endless adventure hence the name “Tula’s Endless Summer”. She is a 1977 Victoria Frances 26′ designed by Chuck Payne.

Billy found her rotting away in a boat yard and decided she was the perfect ocean-going sailboat to leave the frigid weather of New York and head south. He purchased her at a killer price and spent countless hours bringing her back from the dead. He got her in tip-top shape and took off down the east coast. Tula’s engine conked out in Jupiter where Jetty and I climbed aboard. The engine was replaced by a rebuilt one he found on eBay and we spent some time sailing the keys after a failed crossing to the Bahamas. We figured if all three of us were going to live on the boat 26′ is a little too small. She is currently sailing the waters of Virgina and we make sure to stay up to date with her whereabouts on Instagram.
