We have recently made the call to put all our effort into traveling and posting videos on YouTube. This means that travel vlogging is our full-time job. People often ask ” How much money do you make from Youtube?” The secret is below↓↓↓
Full-Time Travel Vloggers?!
How Much Money do you Make from YouTube??
Truth be told….
Not enough for us to make a living.
Another truth. YouTubers are actually not allowed to disclose their earnings. As a YouTube partner, we signed a nondisclosure agreement.
This is why you never find Youtuber’s earnings listed online.
But I can tell you that YouTube is not our main source of income.
So you post YouTube videos for a living but that is not where you make the money?
True.
YouTube gives us the chance to share our videos with millions of people. Which in turn gives us a loyal follower base.
These followers are kind enough to buy our merchandise in The Tula Shop.
Some fans even sign up on Patreon which means that they subscribe to our channel and pledge to donate a chosen amount for each video we post. In exchange, they get “rewards” such as discount codes to The Tula Shop, high-quality photos, and real-time knowledge of where we are and what we are doing.
Another reason Youtube is great is that it gives companies the chance to find popular channels that align well with their brand. Sponsorships and affiliate programs are another way we make a living posting videos. A sponsorship is an exchange of money or goods for a service. In our case, we are offering exposure on our channel to eighty-five thousand people.
Affiliate programs are commision based. This means if we send people to a certain shop and if they buy something we get a commision. Sometimes the company even gives our audience a discount code as an incentive to shop, Raw Elements offers our viewers 10% off by using the discount code “Tula”. Amazon also offers an affiliate program where they offer us a commision if our followers buy anything from Amazon within 30 days of clicking our link even if it is not the product recommended.
We are extremely picky with what kind of companies we represent. The strong follower base I mention above is very smart and they know when product placement is unnatural. This is why we only represent products or services that we love, trust, and believe it is something our audience would enjoy as well. Advertising too many irrelevant products will cause your subscribers to lose trust in your channel.
Where do most of our earnings come from?
The breakdown of our income by source looks a little something like this:
So there you have it, folks. We make less than twenty percent of our earnings directly from YouTube. But the truth is our other income sources would not be possible if it was not for the YouTube platform itself. Getting our videos out there gives us a chance to be seen by millions of people and make other business relationships possible.
Is it possible to make a living off YouTube?
Yes, but unless you are getting millions of views a day you will have to get creative and find other ways to make money with your videos. Patreon, sponsorships, affiliates, and merchandise sales help us to continue sailing the seas. I hope this article shed some light on the YouTube money making world.
Thanks for reading.

WOW! I had no idea how important the Merch was. Great info!
MERCH….branding and selling stuff. Absolutely a great income source…especially when y’all design such good stuff and feature people wearing it in your videos. That really brings your audience close to you.
