Beautiful Annapolis

Here’s a list of some highs and lows of my trip so far down the Jersey Coat, up the Delaware Bay, and to Annapolis. I will try to write some good stuff elaborating on each with some more pictures.

1. Dolphins off Sandy Hook

2. First time ever seasick = not fun (especially when you have to sail yourself)

3. Beautiful Glimmer Glass in Manasquan Inlet

4. Freezing Cold

5. Nice quiet anchorage in Barnegat Bay

6. Calm wind and cold

7. Rest and dock slip in Atlantic City + some waves! Also, a surprise trip home to surprise my family for thanksgiving then right back down to Tula

8. Spinnaker mishap = lost spinnaker pole eerrrh

9. First nice, warm, sunny weather in a longgg time. Spent the morning exploring Cape May.

10. No wind forcing me to motor

11. Tula’s two cylinder volvo diesel running like a champ!

12. Loneliness

13. Ships, oasis towns, and amazing landscapes in the Delaware Bay, C&D Canal, and top of the Chesapeake Bay

14. Still motoring

15. Amazing feeling and views cruising under the chesapeake bridge, through Annapolis, and into a calm anchorage full of glimmering lights

Warm sunny weather, making headway, awesome town, crossfit workout, cool boats, coffee, friends

The pictures don’t do it justice. These waves were huge and fun!
